The North Shore covers a huge spread of property types, and after years on the tools we've built for most of them. Coastal homes in Takapuna, Devonport, Milford and Mairangi Bay get hit hard by salt air, so we lean on powder-coated aluminium and treated timber that won't rust out or rot in a couple of seasons. Inland suburbs like Glenfield, Birkenhead and Northcote are mostly older boundary fences that have finally given up — straight timber replacements, picture frame, or horizontal slat depending on the look you're after.

Further north through Albany, Browns Bay, Torbay and the Hibiscus Coast we get a lot of newer subdivisions and lifestyle blocks. New builds want clean modern lines and proper pool fencing signed off to NZS 8500. Lifestyle properties out towards Dairy Flat and Silverdale usually need post-and-rail or chain link for stock and dogs. We handle the lot with one local team.

Timber fencing is still the workhorse on the Shore — most boundary jobs we do are H4 treated pine, either straight paling, picture frame, or horizontal slat for a more modern look. We use proper concrete-set posts, stainless fixings near the coast, and decent gauge rails so the fence stays straight long after the install. If you want it stained or oiled to match the house, we'll sort that as part of the job.
